Very light rain showers were noted in the central and northern Midwest Monday afternoon. Otherwise, dry conditions dominated the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions. Temperatures ranged from the mid-40s in eastern North Dakota, northern Minnesota and the southeastern Prairies to the low 90s in central and southern Texas along with northern Louisiana.
